How We Worship

Who we Worship

We worship the One True God, the creator and sustainer of everything (Hebrews 1:3; 11:3). This one God exists for all time in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Call To Worship

This is a reading of scripture that reminds us of the Glory of God and calls us to respond to Him with praise and worship.

Singing

We encourage each other and praise God when singing contemporary Christian music and some traditional hymns. We sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in our hearts to God (Colossians 3:16).

Scripture Reading and Teaching

All scripture is breathed out by God and all scripture is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). We teach all scipture, even the hard parts.

Prayer

We pray for mercy, strength, wisdom, healing, missionaries, our nation, our community, the global church, persecuted Christians, and First Baptist Church, Bradford. We pray in the name of Jesus, and we pray everything for the glory of God (John 14:13).

Giving

Generosity is evidence of God's grace in our lives. We give freely because that's what Jesus did for us. (2 Corinthians 8:9).
